The public is invited to an open house on November 11 designed to help steer Mission Viejo’s transit routes.
The open house is from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 200 Civic Center. The City has partnered with the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) to develop local community-based transit services that will link residents to commercial and employment centers and to Metrolink commuter rail stations. Transit routes developed through this process are intended to support the Metrolink Service Expansion Program, which will provide expanded train service between the Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo and Fullerton stations.
Community members are invited to provide input regarding the development of Mission Viejo’s transit routes to design a service that will better meet the needs of community members, business owners, customers and employees.
Reservations are available for the open house by contacting Brett Canedy at bcanedy@cityofmissionviejo.org or 949-470-8422.
