Tim Duggin is determined to achieve his Eagle Scout rank through a project that benefits the community.
On Saturday, Tim, a member of Local Boy Scout Troop 787, landscaped the slope at La Mancha Park with 750 one gallon Cape Honeysuckle plants. The impressive community service project puts him in line to obtain the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America.
Like a master conductor, Tim lead and organized roughly 30 volunteers to complete the labor-intensive planting project.
The City is grateful to Tim and his volunteers for helping to beautify La Mancha Park at 26482 Country Club Drive.
