Calling all teens: If you love comedy and want to see your high school peers perform standup, then make plans for Teen Comedy Night on Wednesday, October 20.
As part of Red Ribbon Week and the Oct. 23 Walk Against Drugs event, the Mission Viejo Community of Character Teen Committee is hosting “Comedy Sportz” at 7:00 p.m. at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way.
“The goal of the event is to provide free comedy in a positive environment,” said committee member Paras Shah. “By using humor and having a good time, the Community of Character Committee hopes to detour teens from drug abuse. We are providing choices for great social activities.”
Teens are bound to have a great time watching members in local Comedy Sportz clubs compete for their applause. The event will feature snacks and drinks that will be available for purchase.
