The public on Saturday, October 16 will have the opportunity to recycle old computer monitors, televisions, cell phones and more in a free Electronic Recycling Event meant to benefit Barcelona Hills Elementary.
The school is teaming up with E-Recycling of California to host the recycling event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 23000 Via Santa Maria.
The event is designed to give the public the opportunity to properly dispose of E-waste, which includes computers; laptops; monitors; keyboards; copiers; VCR’s; fax machines; cell phones; printers; scanners; hard drives; stereo equipment; cables and cords; shredders; microwaves; and more. According to organizers, people can bring their unwanted, broken and obsolete electronic equipment for proper recycling to prevent the items from ending up in our landfill.
For more information about the electronics recycling event, call E-Recycling of California at 949-551-0363.
