Learn how to “Get out of Town” in a free senior transportation workshop October 15 designed to inform older adults of the invaluable transit resources available to them.
The “Get out of Town” senior transportation workshop is from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way.
Transportation experts from the City of Mission Viejo, Orange County Transit Authority (OCTA), Age Well Senior Services, Mission Viejo Dial-a-Taxi, Laguna Hills Dial-a-Taxi, and Dayle McIntosh Center/ Disability Resources will be on hand to discuss the latest guidelines for major South County transportation programs. Attendees will learn about the City’s expanded dial-a-taxi program from City officials and the best systems to meet their specific needs.
Information fact sheets, transit guides and resource lists will be distributed and refreshments will be served.
