The Mission Viejo Relay For Life Committee is seeking volunteers to serve on its 2011 Planning Committee.
Members of the community interested in joining the committee are invited to attend a planning meeting at 6:00 p.m. Oct. 21 at the City’s Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way.
Committee members are responsible for planning the annual Mission Viejo Relay For Life event, which benefits the American Cancer Society. Relay For Life is designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs. The 16th annual Relay For Life of Mission Viejo in June raised roughly $170,000.
Volunteers are sought to help with an array of planning activities for next year’s event.
