The public is invited to attend the Second Annual Mission Viejo Spine Seminar from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Sept. 11 hosted by the Scoliosis Association in partnership with the City of Mission Viejo.
This free event will include free scoliosis screening for all ages by Dr. David Johnson, D.C.
A support meeting will take place from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and includes presentations by experts about therapies for the spine and the many definitions of pain.

In other community news, residents can learn how to square dance through the Ramblin Rogues Square Dance Club, which is offering a beginners class at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way.
Registration starts Sept. 16 for the three-week class that takes place from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursdays. Cost is $6 per person per night and the first class is free. This fun activity is also great exercise to contemporary and western music. Folks can also learn how to line dance, which will be taught during breaks during class sessions.
