Lee Goldberg – author, TV producer, and screenwriter whose credits include A&E’s hot new show “The Glades” and many others – will appear at the Mission Viejo Readers’ Festival on Saturday, Sept. 25. Lee is well-known for writing tie-in novels for his popular TV shows.
The Friends Present Mission Viejo Readers’ Festival takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the Village Green at Oso Viejo Community Park, 24932 Veterans Way. Free shuttle service will be available from the Mission Viejo Civic Center from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Among Lee’s many other TV writing/producing credits are USA Network’s “Monk,” “Martial Law,” and the popular ’90s show “Diagnosis Murder.”
Lee will join more than 30 bestselling authors and illustrators in this free event that is sponsored by the Friends of the Mission Viejo Library. Festival patrons will also enjoy food booths, entertainment and merchandise vendors. Authors and illustrators will sign copies of their books, which can be purchased at the Whale of a Tale Children’s Book Shoppe booth and Book Events and Authors Unlimited.
Patrons are encouraged to bring a canned or non-perishable food item for the South County Outreach Food Pantry. Full festival details are available at www.mvreadersfestival.org.
