The United States Youth Volleyball League, which is based in Mission Viejo, is still accepting registration for its fall 2010 season.
The league meets from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturdays at Del Lago Elementary school, 27181 Entidad Street. Opening day is Thursday, Sept. 9.
The youth recreational volleyball league caters to boys and girls ages 7-15. Officials say the league teaches the fundamentals of volleyball to kids in a safe and fun environment with an emphasis on positive coaching.
