Three petitions concerning the sale of alcoholic beverages are slated to be considered by the Planning and Transportation Commission on Monday, August 23.
Permits for the sale of beer and wine have been submitted by the agent of Walgreens for their two Mission Viejo pharmacies, located at 27785 Santa Margarita Parkway, in the Trabuco Hills Center, and at 25533 Marguerite Parkway.
The owners of the Maya Inn, a family restaurant at 25571 Jeronimo Road, Unit 8, in the Jeronimo Shopping Center are seeking to upgrade their alcoholic beverage license. While their current license permits the sale of beer and wine, they are petitioning to allow for the sale of distilled spirits.
Public hearings for each will be held at 6:30 p.m., or shortly thereafter, in the City Council Chamber, 200 Civic Center. For more information call (949) 470-3053.
