Cafe Mia Terra
Cafe Mia Terra, Mission Viejo’s newest restaurant, opens Friday, August 13 in Silverado Plaza at 25542 Jeronimo Road. This family-owned and operated restaurant features traditional pasta dishes, wraps, all-you-can-eat soup and salad with Tiramisu and bananas flambé options for dessert. The restaurant is open Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Local business expanding
Fabshow, a local kitchen and bath supplier and installer, is expanding from 1,500 square feet to 2,500 square feet in the adjacent space at 25106 Marguerite Parkway in the Ralph’s Center. Fabshow offers granite, hardwood flooring, custom and prefabricated cabinets. There are six other Fabshow locations in Orange County. The store is part owned by a Mission Viejo resident. Free SBA workshops for veterans/service members
The City has partnered with US Small Business Administration (SBA) to offer all active-duty service members, veterans, reservists and National Guardsmen (and their spouses) an opportunity to attend the upcoming Entrepreneurial Training & Development Workshop on August 18, which will feature free business training, business counseling and networking. Business workshop topics include Franchising; Financing; Government Contracting; Sales Techniques; and Networking.

Congregation Eilat sells site
The property formerly owned by the Congregation Eilat at 22081 Hidalgo has been sold to Reverence Bible Church. This property includes a two-story, 10,809-square-foot sanctuary building and an 8,351-square-foot school building. Reverence Bible Church has been meeting at Trabuco Hills High School for nearly 5 years. According to Pastor Sandy Otsuji, worship services are held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday with youth, teen and adult bible study sessions during the week.
