Mission Viejo voters will consider 12 candidates in the November election

The race is on. As of today, 12 candidates were officially lined up for three open Mission Viejo City Council seats in November. The deadline to file papers ended today.

On Nov. 2, voters will consider the following candidates: Patricia “Trish” Kelley, a City Council Member; Brian Skalsky, City commissioner; David “Dave” Leckness, a Mission Viejo Councilman/businessman; Rick Sandzimier, a Mission Viejo commissioner/businessman; Fred Carr, a local businessman; Ken Golemo, a consumer marketing consultant; Mark Dobrilovic, a commissioner/financial advisor; Sam Mamola, a trust attorney/businessman; Bill Barker, a registered professional engineer; Rhonda Reardon, a retired business manager; Lance MacLean, an FDIC operations specialist; and Neil Lonsinger, a retired service executive.

The public can review the “Candidate Statements” at the close of business on the City’s website at http://www.cityofmissionviejo.org/DepartmentPage.aspx?id=11261.
