Grandparents and their grandchildren are invited to bond during exciting Wednesday theme parties that include crafts, games, refreshments and costume contests.
The fun-filled free parties take place from 10 to 11:30 a.m. July 28 through Aug. 11. The parties are planned by the National Charity League (Canyon Chapter) moms and daughters.
Kids ages 6 to 10 and their grandparents will embrace a “Dog Days” theme party on July 28. That will be followed by a “Costume Day” party for grandparents and their grandchildren ages 3 to 5 on Aug. 4. Finally on Aug. 11, the “Nature Day” party will help grandparents and their kin ages 6 to 10 to enjoy and appreciate nature at its finest.
Reservations are required a week in advance to take part in these free, entertaining activities.
