Authorities are seeking two men who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank on Vista Del Lago today and fled in a burgundy Chevy Tahoe with a trash bag full of cash.
The incident happened around 11:30 a.m. at the bank located at 27722 Vista Del Lago.
Two male black suspects, wearing stockings over their heads, entered the bank demanding people get on the floor. They jumped the teller’s counter, grabbed cash out of three teller drawers and stuffed about $40,000 into a trash bag before fleeing in the Chevy Tahoe, which did not have license plates. The suspects were in and out of the bank within two minutes.
Sheriff’s units were on scene within two minutes of being dispatched, but the suspects got away.
