The Corner Fish Grill opens for business on Saturday, July 10 at the corner of La Paz Road and Muirlands Blvd.
The eatery will feature grilled fish, shrimp and chicken; an array of salads with seafood options; and grilled or battered fish, shrimp and chicken tacos.
The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week.

After lots of anticipation for this place to fianlly open – we were completely let down. I would not waste your time or money on this place. We went in on opening day and the place was a disaster. No organization, no real management was apparent, the guy at the register was REALLY slow / did not know the menu or how to ring it in, I had to repeat my order 3 times, no kids menu, no high chairs, no straws, no napkins, blah, blah, blah. Granted it was “opening day” but you only have one chance to make a first impression. My opinion – this place will be out of business by the end of 2010…
After almost two months, this place still is a big mess. It takes for ever to get the food eventhough the place is not busy. Food usully is overcooked or half frozen.
Best Fish in town…I have been there many times now and have taken a lot of my friends there . We have never been disappointed. The fish is always cooked perfectly and has the best flavor…The rice and cold slaw are a nice compliment and the grilled vegis are soo good…The Trout is fantastic!!
NOT a good experience at all . My two friends and I went there for dinner.
I ordered 2 fish tacos , one friend got Mahi Mahi and the other one got halibut with rice and beans.
After about 20 minutes or more ,two of us got the food and my friend had to wait again.We wanted to have dinner together and it wouldn’t be nice for two of us to start eating while she still was waiting so, we all had to wait.
I did not like the the waiting time ( it was too long for a fast food place),chewy tortilla and my friend did not like over cooked, dry halibut.
So, that was the first and the last visit to Grill fish
I have been to Corner fish grill twice and I think the food doesn’t justify the price and unprofessional service. If you are looking for these types of the food, you should try Rubios Mexican grill located at Alicia pkwy and Jeronimo, just a block away .Rubios offer better food, better price and nicer place.( on Tuesday you pay less than $2.00 for Fish taco).
In this economy who want to pay almost $14.00 for an small piece the fish ? forget about Fries and Rice, no tasty at all.

The corner fish grill is a good place to eat the salads were very good. I couldn’t have asked for better service. It also has a great location i have to come here at least once a week. The people there were very nice. I will keep coming back.
Service was horrible, cashier was rude. Very industrial kooking place with no room and cramped. Cashier messed up our order, the owner is an old guy with rude attitude. Dont waste your time and money!!
