Bake sale benefits senior programs at City’s community center

More than $1,400 was raised during Saturday’s Bunny Days Bake Sale at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center. The proceeds will benefit senior programs at the facility.

The sale, which took place during the popular Bunny Days event, was a huge success thanks to the generous donations of novelty items and homemade baked goods from the Saddleback Chapter of the National Charity League, who baked and wrapped the donated goods. Senior volunteers manned the sale, which included delectable cakes, cupcakes, cookies, brownies and breakfast breads.

The Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center is at 24932 Veterans Way. For more information about programs and events at the center, call 949-470-3062.
