Getting fiber into the home will enable all sorts of things not currently practical even if you are not into medical imaging or worldwide collaboration. I think the City should advertise this more e.g. press releases in the Saddleback News, OC Register, posting on the electronic billboard at Marguerite and La Paz, flyers at the Rec Centers, library and other community areas, and possibly through the school districts. We also have to keep in mind that no matter how fast this service is, its performance will be hindered by the rest of the Internet. It's like having a hot rod car and dirt roads.
