Grand Opening for Einstein Bagels

Low Cost Business Workshops Offered in Mission Viejo
The City has partnered with SCORE, America’s Counselors for Small Business, the Employment Development Department (EDD) and the Orange County Small Business Development Center (OC SBDC) to host small business workshops at City Hall, 200 Civic Center.

Register now for EDD’s free State Labor Law and Payroll Tax Seminar that takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 18 by calling 1-888-745-3886 or visiting www.edd.ca.gov/taxsem.

The next SCORE workshop is from 6 to 9 p.m. March 23. Guests will learn about “Demystifying Financial Statements.” Register at www.score114.org or call 1-714-550-7369 for information.

Lennar Acquires site for Townhome/Condo Development
Earlier this month, the City Council approved an agreement with Lennar Homes of California that will lead to the construction of a 144-unit townhome/condominium project at 25565 Los Alisos Boulevard (next to Target). Twenty-two of the units will be offered as affordable housing.
