More than two miles of busy Mission Viejo streets have been paved in an effort to extend the life of the roadways. As part of the City’s American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 Street Rehabilitation Project, All American Asphalt completed the final paving on Olympiad Road between Marguerite Parkway and Alicia Parkway today.
Trabuco Road between Manalastas Drive and Los Alisos Boulevard and Alicia Parkway from Olympiad Road to the easterly City limit were also paved. During the week, roughly 9,000 tons of asphalt was placed.
Follow-up utility, striping and other work will continue for several weeks.
