Reservations are available for a special appearance by New York Times bestselling author Meg Cabot on April 22.
Cabot will appear in the free Writers Present program that takes place at 7 p.m. in the Sycamore Room at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way. The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Mission Viejo Library.
Hailed as “chick-lit royalty” by Newsweek magazine, Cabot is the author of more than 40 books for kids, teens and adults. Her books have sold more than 15 million copies worldwide. Cabot’s most notable series, “The Princess Diaries,” is published in more than 38 countries and was made into two hit Disney movies.
“Allie Finkle’s Rules for Girls,” her latest series for kids, and “Airhead,” an edgy new series for teens, are published by the world’s largest publisher of children’s books. Popular adult books include the “Heather Wells” mystery series, “Queen of Babble” and “Insatiable,” an upcoming modern-day Dracula sequel.
The popular author will sign copies of her books purchased at the event.
