Groups, businesses, organizations and individuals interested in forming teams for Mission Viejo Relay For Life are invited to Thursday’s Kick-Off meeting at Park Place Lexus.
The meeting, which takes place at 6 p.m., is designed to prompt awareness, participation and educate individuals about ways to help fight the disease. New York Gandolfo’s Delicatessen will cater the event that will be held at 28242 Marguerite Parkway.
The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs. The event offers something for everyone – from the newly diagnosed and caregivers to friends and long-term cancer survivors.
Team captains are sought to recruit groups, families, friends, neighbors or co-workers to raise money and attend the 24-hour event that will be held June 5-6 at Saddleback College.
