Whether you are interested in watercolor, photography or learning to strum the guitar, the City’s Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center is offering exciting courses that start in February.
Artists and novices alike are invited to explore watercolor, basics, techniques, color and concept during the Watercolor Magic program that kicks off on Feb. 3.
Instructor Marlene Gerloff will lead the class, which takes place from noon to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesdays through March 10.
Students 18 years of age and older will receive personal guidance to help develop their work along with informative lectures and demonstrations. Some students have gone on to win awards for their work.

Digital Photography with George Katzenberger
The public is invited to learn the fundamentals of digital photography in this course designed to enhance artistic expression.
The class takes place from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. for middle and high school students and from 6 to 8 p.m. for adults on Wednesdays from Feb. 3 through March 10.
Students will learn how to turn their snapshots into great photographs.

Beginning & Intermediate Guitar with Ronald Gorman
Guitar guru Ronald Gorman will help build a strong foundation for people with no experience playing the guitar. Students will learn open position chords, strum styles and time signatures during this class, which takes place from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays from Feb. 10 through March 10.
Cost is $90 and students should bring their own guitar and tuner.
