Making the most of your money now was the message driven home by best-selling author and financial advisor Jane Bryant Quinn on Tuesday during the Writers Present program at Mission Viejo City Hall.
More than 100 money-minded individuals of all ages listened to Quinn’s sage advice about ways to better manage their finances.
Quinn discussed several “tried and true” investing rules such as mutual funds; passive investing; strict diversification of stocks and bonds; and regular rebalancing.
Copies of her new book, “Making the Most of Your Money Now,” are available at the Mission Viejo Library. Visit the library’s web site at www.cmvl.org for details.
The next Writers Present program, sponsored by the Friends of the Mission Viejo Library, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 10 in the Mission Viejo City Council Chambers, 200 Civic Center.
