Authorities are seeking individuals who may have been victimized by a father who allegedly molested a member of his daughter’s softball team.
Deputies responded to a Mission Viejo residence on Jan. 23 regarding an underage student who had been allegedly sexually molested by Johnny Albert Haynes, 39.
Haynes was booked into the County Jail after the Orange County Sheriff’s Special Victims Unit gathered enough evidence to connect him to the assault that occurred while the underage victim spent the night at her teammate’s home.
The Sheriff’s Special Victims Unit is seeking other victims who have played softball in the area and know Haynes. Haynes is not a coach on either the Mission Viejo High School team or the travel team but does help out both teams when needed.
