The Friends of the Mission Viejo Library is seeking donations of gently used non-fiction books for its bookstore inside the Mission Viejo Library. Proceeds from the sale of the donated books will benefit the library and community events.
Non-fiction topics such as cooking, biographies; sports; religion; textbooks; travel; art; crafts, decorating, health and fitness are all sought and can be dropped off during operating hours. All donations are tax deductible. The Friends of the Mission Viejo Library bookstore is open seven days a week during library hours.
Each year, the Friends of the Mission Viejo Library raise more than $125,000 from bookstore sales. Proceeds are used to purchase new books and films for the library and sponsor programs such as the popular Mission Viejo Readers’ Festival and SummerREAD.
The Mission Viejo Library is located at 100 Civic Center. For more information, call 949-830-7100, ext. 5115.
