Aspiring actors and individuals looking to have fun are in luck. The City will host four new acting classes starting Jan. 11 at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way.
Class information is as follows:
Acting with James Harris
Youth and adult group courses are designed to help participants explore acting in a safe and supportive environment. Students will learn how the actor’s craft works and gain confidence to play and perform.

High School Musical with Chris Caputo
This course is geared toward high school students who want to explore performing in musical theatre. The class covers acting and vocal technique and simple choreography. It is tailored to all abilities and offers individual voice and acting coaching.

Musical Theatre Scenes for Beginners (High School and Adults) with Chris Caputo
This class allows the student to explore voice and acting skills necessary for musical theatre. Each session includes group and individual voice work and explores various group scenes, employing simple choreography and harmony.
The class is from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursdays through Feb. 18.
