The public is invited to enjoy a lively production of “Moon Over Buffalo” by On The Edge Theatre Productions, a new community theatre organization in town.

The play takes place at 8 p.m. on Friday Jan. 8 and Jan. 15 and at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9 and Jan. 16 at the La Paz Intermediate School Theatre, 25151 Pradera Drive.

“Moon Over Buffalo” is a comedy by Ken Ludwig set in Buffalo, New York in 1953. It relies heavily on situation comedy for humor and provides a little slapstick.

On the Edge Theatre Productions started a few years ago with a single production per year and has grown to include three or four shows. The community theater group strives to provide entertaining, educational and exceptional works of art.

The “Moon Over Buffalo” production features local actors ranging in age from 17 to 55.
The cast includes Marcia Anderson (Mission Viejo); Lisa Baker (Lake Forest); Jeff Haut (Aliso Viejo); Brandon Howard (Mission Viejo); Howard Kline (Dove Canyon); Lane Kunce (Lake Forest); Jenna Pryor (Mission Viejo); and Kate West (Anaheim Hills).

Tickets are $14 for general admission; $12 for students and seniors.

Reservations are available online at http://www.otetheatre.com or by calling 949-458-2243.
