The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is now expected to close the northbound I-5 off-ramp to Oso Parkway for the weekend starting late Friday, Jan. 8. The off-ramp is slated to reopen on Jan. 11. The work, which was originally planned for Dec. 11, was delayed due to weather conditions.
The closure is part of ongoing construction of the $14.3 million Oso Parkway Interchange Project, which began on Sept. 15, 2008. The project is expected to be finished next June.
Motorists are encouraged to be alert and proceed with caution while driving in construction zones.
