An array of spectacularly decorated homes have been crowned winners of the 37th annual Holiday Home Lighting Contest by the Mission Viejo Activities Committee.
The contest, which ended on Dec. 4, encouraged residents to brighten their neighborhood and share the holiday spirit with others.
Homes were judged in categories such as most religious, most humorous, bright lights, simply elegant and magical effects.
The homes will receive a floral centerpiece, display sign announcing their title and recognition on the City’s and Mission Viejo Activities Committee’s Web sites.
Maps to the locations of winning homes and runners up are available starting Saturday, Dec. 12 at Santa’s workshop in the Winter Wonderland Village located in the Kershaw Garden at the Mission Viejo Civic Center, 200 Civic Center.
