Buffalo Wild Wings to Open in Kaleidoscope
Buffalo Wild Wings Grill and Bar is expected to open in the Kaleidoscope Center on Crown Valley Parkway in March. The eatery plans a $1.5-million renovation for the 7,000-square-foot restaurant and patio space that formerly housed El Torito Grill. There are more than 633 Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants now open in 41 states. Annual sales at franchisee-owned locations averages over $2.5 million each, which could add more than $25,000 in annual sales tax revenue to the City.
Buffalo Wild Wings Grill and Bar, which started in 1982, is one of the industry’s fastest growing restaurant chains. The casual restaurant boasts New York-style wings, 14 different sauces and offers appetizers, salads, hamburgers and specialty items with a trivia system and HDTVs and big screens for sports fans. The Orange County franchisee is planning to open 15 new restaurants in the county over the next 5 years. The eatery is the recipient of dozens of “Best Wings” and “Best Sports Bar” awards.
California Teriyaki Grill to Open in Portola Plaza
California Teriyaki Grill, known for its healthy and affordable cuisine, is expected to open in the former O’Wok space at the Portola Plaza in March.
The California Teriyaki Grill has signed a 10-year lease for a 1,400-square-foot space in the northern most part of the shopping center, which is near Santa Margarita Parkway and Los Alisos Boulevard.
California Teriyaki Grill is the latest take-out style teriyaki restaurant from restaurateur Kofy, Inc. The menu features chicken, beef, ribs, shrimp and veggie plates/bowls and salads. Mission Viejo will be the fifth California Teriyaki Grill location in Orange County.
New MV Target Store Improving
Mission Viejo’s newest Target store is planning $750,000 in tenant improvements at the Jeronimo Road/Los Alisos Boulevard location. Target will add refrigerated cases on the
floor and walk-in coolers and freezers in the stock room to better serve the needs of its customers.
Rock N’ Road Cyclery is Expanding in Trabuco Hills Center
Rock N’ Road Cyclery has outgrown its existing 4,000-square-foot space and is expanding by an additional 3,600 square feet into the available space next door. The Mission Viejo Rock N’ Road Cyclery store has grown to be the top store in the chain, according to store officials.
