Someone once said, “We make a living by what we get; we make a life by what we give.”
Indeed, the spirit of giving is alive and well in Mission Viejo this holiday season. That is evident by the boxes overflowing with presents and shiny new bicycles decorated with bright big bows in City Hall.
The gifts are from members of the community who have reached into their hearts and donated new, unwrapped toys for the children of Mission Viejo’s Adopted Headquarters Battalion.
The gifts will be wrapped by volunteers from the City’s Marines and Sailors Adoption Committee and given to the children just before the holidays.
