Mission Hospital will host a free H1N1 influenza vaccination clinic on Saturday, Dec. 5 at the Mission Hospital Conference Center, located at the corner of Los Altos and Crown Valley Parkway.
The clinic is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for people who are eligible to receive the vaccine.
Those eligible for the FluMist Live Intranasal Vaccine include healthy children ages 2 to 24 years old; individuals ages 25-49 who are caring for infants under 6 months old; healthy household members living with an individual with a chronic medical condition; and healthy health care workers up to 49 years old.
Eligibility requirements for the Injectable/Inactivated Vaccine “Flu Shot” include children ages 3 and over with a chronic medical condition such as asthma, diabetes or heart disease; adults with a chronic medical condition; pregnant women; breastfeeding mothers; health care workers over 49 years old; and any adult over 49 years old.
Supplies are limited and no appointments will be taken.
