The Saddleback Valley Unified School District Board on Tuesday, Nov. 10 will hold a public hearing for the Oxford Preparatory Academy (OPA) Charter School.
The meeting is at 6:15 p.m. in the board room of the district’s office located at 25631 Peter Hartman Way.
During the hearing, the governing board will consider the level of support by parents and teachers for OPA.
According to officials, OPA aims to:
- Increase opportunities for learning and access to quality education for all students.
- Create an educational choice for parents and students within the public school system.
- Provide a system of accountability for results in public education.
- Foster creation of new professional opportunities for teachers; and,
- Encourage community and parent involvement in public education.
