The public is invited to attend Hometown Halloween, a fun-filled community celebration that caters to all ages.

The colorful event is from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24 at the City’s Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way.

Sport your spookiest, most creative costume and enjoy game booths, crafts and pony and hay rides. The Halloween celebration includes tasty fare and the Wacky Whitchin’ Kitchen, a pint-sized haunted house.

Kids decked out in their favorite Superman, Princess, Bob the Builder, Tinkerbell, Tigger, Ghost or Pirate costume will enjoy walking the red carpet during the costume parade.

Big Bird and Elmo will host the free parade from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

For more information, call 949-768-0981 and press 3 for recreation.
