The public is invited to attend the premiere age-group championship meet that is expected to attract more than 1,100 swimmers to the Marguerite Aquatics Complex at 27474 Casta del Sol. The meet runs through Sunday, Aug. 2.

Residents are also encouraged to stop by the “Community Open House” on Aug. 4 to learn about the Nadadores, which are known world-wide for a commitment to excellence in the sport of swimming. Locally, the club is also known for its community-service efforts.

The open house, which takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., includes free games, prizes, swimming demonstrations, food and fun. Visitors will learn about swimming programs and more.

In other Nadadores news, Coach Bill Rose is serving as assistant women’s coach for the US team competing in the FINA World Championships in Rome. The Championships run through Sunday, Aug. 2.
