Eighteen divers headed to the 2009 Speedo Junior Olympic National Championships

The Mission Viejo Nadadores Diving Team qualified 18 divers to the 2009 Speedo Junior Olympic Diving National Championships. The top divers from across the nation will compete the week of Aug. 1-8 in Moultrie, Georgia.

NadadoresTo qualify for the prestigious event, the divers had to succeed at the Regional and Zone level meets. The top divers at the Zone meet now go on to compete at the National meet. The divers will compete on the 1-meter springboard, 3-meter springboard and Platform Tower events. They train under the expert coaching staff of Todd Spohn, Janet Ely and Derek Starks.

The Nadadores National qualifiers include Christine Rommel; Conor Murphy; Kahley Rowell; Mark Anderson; Nicole Ford; Colten Young; Steven Anderson; Annie Whelan; Heather Yoshi; Cami Hildago; Allyson Wood; Rachel Reeves; Hanna Tears; Makena Chamoures; Kaylee Meyers; Sammy Gallagher; Sam Adams; and Cameron Dehn.
