The public is invited to enjoy an original play based on the challenges and triumphs of a first-year teacher in an educational satire that is bound to delight audience members during its three-night run at Mission Viejo High School.
The play is a satire on teaching and follows a first-year teacher struggling to find her way through an ever-winding educational maze. The play, which gives the audience a comedic peak into what really happens inside the faculty lunchroom, will take place at 8 p.m. July 30, 31 and Aug. 1 at the Performance Arts Theatre at Mission Viejo High School, 25025 Chrisanta Drive.
John M. Stamos, the play’s producer and director, wrote the original play with educators Ron Archer, Margie Farmer, David Richmond, Debbie Sidler and Lisbeth Welch-Stamos.
There is an $8 donation at the door. Tickets are available online at www.seatyourself.biz/missionviejo.
Proceeds will benefit a local drama student who plans to attend Chapman University.
