Local teens are invited to kick off the summer on Friday with a free movie on the lawn nestled between the Mission Viejo Library and Civic Center at 200 Civic Center.
The evening will feature “Get Smart” – the 2008 action comedy film adaptation of the 1960s spy parody TV series. The film starred Steve Carell as Maxwell Smart and Anne Hathaway as Agent 99. Youth members of the City’s Community of Character Committee are hosting the event, which is geared toward teens 13 years of age and older.
Moviegoers will also enjoy a collection of short films by Capistrano Valley High School students.
Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase, and attendees should bring low-back chairs or beach towels to sit on.
The fun begins at 7:30 p.m., with the feature film starting at dark.
