The Registrar of Voters is gearing up for the May 19 Special Election, having recruited 4,191 poll workers and 932 poll sites for Election Day.
Voters on Tuesday will consider six ballot propositions.
As of Friday, the number of ballots returned in Orange County was 223,339 (36 percent.) Only one other county (Plumas) has more returns (38 percent), according to the Orange County Registrar of Voters.
