Renowned musicians appear in Mission Viejo April 25
Lord of the Strings presents renowned musicians Richard Smith and Julie Adams at 7 p.m. April 25.
Smith and Adams will entertain guests with their talent, style and zeal on the guitar and cello, respectively.
Smith was a child prodigy when he discovered the guitar. Adams, a diverse cellist, was classically trained at the Interlochen Center for the Arts and the Cincinnati Conservatory.

Spring Arts and Music Camp with Claudia Carter and Mischa Lakirovich starts April 6
The Orange County Young Artists will host a music and art camp from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. April 6-10 in the Saddleback Room at City Hall, 200 Civic Center.
The music and art camp gives children the opportunity to embrace innovative workshops, classes and gallery exhibitions in the visual and performing arts.
Students will create music from jazz, rock and classical tunes and enjoy sports and fun outdoor activities for cultural and artistic enrichment.
The camp concludes with a special concert and open gallery from 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 11.

Watercolor Magic begins April 8
Artists and novices alike are invited to explore watercolor, basics, techniques, color and concept during the Watercolor Magic program that kicks off on April 8.

Registration is available for an exciting morning adult ceramics class that starts April 21 at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24952 Veterans Way.
Instructor Fatemeh Ayoughi will help students build on the foundation of ceramics, while challenging them to expand their vocabulary form and texture. Students will gain an understanding of surface treatments such as hand building using the pinch and slip method, glaze applications and kiln firing.
Class meets from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesdays and Wednesdays through May 27.
