Mission Viejo has added to its casual-dining options with the recent opening of The Grill Hut at 28815 Los Aliso Blvd.
The 1,498-square-foot eatery, which opened in December, specializes in healthy, tasty and affordable Persian cuisine that is prepared without the use of a freezer or microwave, according to the restaurant.
Patrons to the quaint eatery will find traditional staples such as hummus, pita bread and appetizers drenched in yogurt. The casual establishment features chicken, steak, fish and ground beef kabobs cooked on a mesquite grill, flavor-filled wraps and salads tossed with feta cheese, tomatoes, walnuts and the eatery’s signature homemade dressing. The City’s Planning and Transportation Commission recently gave The Grill Hut the green light to serve beer and wine.
The Grill Hut is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday; closed on Mondays.
