Robert Wagner, an award-winning actor, producer and author will speak about his new memoir entitled “Pieces of My Heart” at 6 p.m. on Jan. 31 in the Sycamore Room at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center at 24932 Veterans Way.
Wagner will chronicle his six decades in show business – behind and in front of the camera – as the headliner in the Writers Present program, sponsored by the Friends of the Mission Viejo Library.
Wagner is a Golden Globe-nominated prolific film and television actor of stage and screen, who starred in movies, soap operas and television. He starred in three popular TV series that spanned that spanned three decades – “It Takes a Thief” (1968–1970), “Switch” (1975–1978), and “Hart to Hart”(1979–1984).
In film, Wagner is best known for his role as Number Two in the “Austin Powers” films of the late 1990s and early 2000s. He also had a recurring role as Teddy on the popular TV sitcom “Two and a Half Men.”
The Friends of the Mission Viejo Library will host a wine bar and refreshments during the Jan. 31 special program.
