The City on Jan. 11 will offer a lively new course designed to encourage residents to sing along with the best of the Great American Songbook and embrace our nation’s history.
The program, “Can’t Help Singing: Why the Great Songs are Great,” kicks off at 4 p.m. at the City’s Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way.
Music historian Larry Maurer of Timeless Melodies will examine the power of music through video clips and narratives.
