Saddleback College presents “Chamber Music” in the Civic Center Friday
On Friday, the public is invited to a free concert that is sure to entertain and delight the masses. The concert, under the direction of Professor Donald Ambroson, is at 10 a.m. in the Saddleback Room at Civic Center, 200 Civic Center Drive.
Chamber music is designed for pianists, string and woodwind players to study music works from the standard repertoire. For more information, call 949-470-3062.
Baritone John Huntington will sing “Holiday Music” Saturday
John Huntington – one of Southern California’s premiere musical theatre artists – will showcase his talents at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Mission Viejo Civic Center. Huntington won acclaim with roles in “How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying” and “Cyrano de Bergerac.”

Santa’s Village in the Civic Center abounds with entertainment
Free programs and activities will radiate the holiday spirit in Mission Viejo throughout the month. The workshop entertainment schedule is as follows in the Kershaw Garden, located in Civic Center at 200 Civic Center Drive.

At 4:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, Saima Rafiq’s Girl Scout Troop will sing holiday music.

At 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, One Performing Arts Center will perform a dance piece under the direction of Tami McQueen.

Be sure to drop by at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7 as the Architexture Dance Company welcomes Santa to his house with a candle-light welcome. The dance company is under the direction of Deidre Cavazzi.

On Wednesday, Dec. 10, Mischa Lakirovich (Julliard graduate and instructor) at 7:30 p.m. will present an evening of music, featuring the Black Bird Music Project of Los Angeles in the Saddleback Room in the Civic Center.

Santa is coming to town, again. At 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, Architexture Dance Company will welcome jolly old St. Nick with candle lights to his house. The dance company is under the direction of Deidre Cavazzi.

At 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 20, Mischa Lakirovich (Julliard graduate and instructor) will present an evening of Chamber Music in the Saddleback Room in the Civic Center.

The Young Performers of Orange County at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 21, will present a classical concert in the Saddleback Room in the Civic Center.

Later that day at 6 p.m., Mischa Lakirovich will present a violin ensemble on the outdoor stage in the Kershaw Garden. Bring lawn chairs and bundle up for a special outdoor concert.
