With the holiday season approaching and excitement floating through town about the City’s 2009 Rose Parade float, the City is now offering official Tournament of Roses Parade souvenir merchandise for sale.
The merchandise – great stocking stuffers and holiday gifts – is available at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Fridays and at the Montanoso Recreation Center from 5:30 a.m. to 8:45 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
The souvenir items, which range from $2 to $15, include Rose Parade T-shirts and sweatshirts; Mission Viejo Commemorative float pins; Tournament of Roses “Rose” Pins; Hats Off to Entertainment” Tournament Theme Pins; and Mission Viejo Float Commemorative Patches.
Rose Parade Programs will arrive around Dec. 15.
Proceeds from merchandise sales will help offset the costs of transporting volunteer float decorators to Irwindale. Online merchandise ordering will be available soon. Details are available by calling 949-470-3062.
