Nourish the spirit, investing tips, family heirloom presentations on tap at the Norman P. Murray Community & Senior Center

Thursday’s course designed to help grieving folks through holidays
The Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13 will host “Nourishing the Spirit” to assist those grieving a loved one negotiate holidays and special occasions.

The program, which is co-sponsored by O’Connor Mortuary and Buena Vida at Town Center, includes a continental breakfast and raffle prizes. For more information and to register, call 949-470-3062.

U.S. Savings Bonds: What to do with them
Community members seeking information about what to do with their U.S. Savings Bonds are in luck. Drop by the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14 and learn everything you wanted to know and more about U.S. Savings Bonds in a free informative program featuring Dr. Edward Daoud, Ph.D.

Despite the popularity, most investors know basically nothing about the bonds. Daoud will field questions and provide helpful information and more.

Free presentation designed to help thwart family feuds about family heirlooms
The public is invited on Nov. 20 to attend a free presentation designed to help people designate heirlooms and avoid family feuds and sibling squabbles.

The informative presentation, led by Janice Brown, M. Div., MSN, RN, starts at 10 a.m. at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center. For more information, call 949-470-3062.
