New resource link on City’s Web site meant to help residents avoid foreclosure

In an effort to provide information for homeowners faced with possible foreclosure, the City has added a “foreclosure prevention” resources link to its Web site at www.cityofmissionviejo.org.

With uncertain economic times bringing unexpected financial issues for many – ranging from higher household expenses to missed mortgage payments and, in some cases, job layoffs – the goal of the new resource link is to provide homeowners with invaluable information.

Visitors to the foreclosure-prevention information link at http://cityofmissionviejo.org/DepartmentPage.aspx?id=3592 will find answers to frequently asked questions and contact information for agencies such as the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and other organizations along with useful links and resources.

For more information, contact the City’s Community Development Department at 949-470-3053 or e-mail cd@cityofmissionviejo.org.
