The City on Sept. 29 will host a free informational workshop about a new beneficial support service for qualified older adults.
The workshop, “You’ve Got Wheels – Do You know How to Ride?” will take place from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Norman P. Murray Community Center, 24932 Veterans Way. It is designed to help new and regular taxi-cab riders learn basic steps and insider “short cuts” for using the City’s new support service.
City staff and representatives from California Yellow Cab will provide in-depth informational guidelines so people can start using the valuable service immediately. Application forms will be distributed and participant questions will be addressed.
Folks are encouraged to bring interested friends and family members to the workshop that will include free refreshments.
